WORKSHOP

Recovering from religious confusion and dysfunction

We might assume that if a person grew up in a Christian home where Jesus Christ was daily lifted up as being of supreme importance to the family’s values, the home would naturally be healthy.

One where God is lifted up at most meals, family devotions are done on a weekly basis, Church was rarely missed, and maybe Dad was a church leader and mom a frequent volunteer.

Imagine a home that was like the home described above, but the love and grace of God that was often talked about was not felt among the family members. This story is often a norm in our churches, causing long term harm.
